What is your mailbox policy?

Mailboxes and/or posts damaged due to the actions of the road commission shall be exchanged for a new standard US Postal Service approved mailbox and/or post. Please bring your damaged mailbox into the Road Commission office during regular business hours. The road commission personnel shall not install the new mailbox and/or post. Any mailbox damaged by the force of flying snow shall not be replaced

 

If I live on a seasonal road will it be plowed?
Seasonal Roads will not be snow plowed by the Road Commission unless the Commission determines that plowing a Seasonal Road or portion of is in the best interest of the Road Commission. Any request for winter service on a seasonal road must be brought to the Board for consideration.

 

What is your road kill policy?
It is the Road Commission’s policy to remove and dispose of deer in the right-of-way that pose a safety or health threat. Any other animals located in the ditch or roadway may not be removed. Deer outside the right-of-way and other animals will be the responsibility of the property owner. Deer removal will only be done during normal working hours.
